Introduction to elements of map design, Shapefile- KML and CAD-GIS data conversion. Introduction to ModelBuilder™ software. Use of raster data, analyzing raster surfaces. Use of web-based GIS applications and services. Extensive use of ArcGIS™ software.

Prerequisite: CE 203 or GIS 103
