The first of a two course series. Lecture: study of pharmacology, solutions, dosages, vasoconstrictiors, drug interactions, medical history evaluation and contradictions. Laboratory practice in techniques of local anesthesia include basic injection technique including block infiltration.

Prerequisites: CHE 360 and DH 267
