The Ethics Certificate program is designed to provide students with advanced ethical reasoning skills and an advanced ethically relevant knowledge base. By offering a variety of elective courses from multiple areas, the program is designed to be customizable and complementary to a student’s major and future career path.

To satisfy the program’s 18-credit requirement, 6 credits must be earned by completing both of the program’s core courses, at least 3 credits must be earned by completing one of the elective courses within the program that is 300 level and has a PHIL prefix, and the remaining 9 credits can be satisfied by completing any other 100-200 level courses or 300-400 level courses among the program’s electives.  Students must complete 18 credits to receive the certificate.
