Program Description

This Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology (IT) is designed to equip students with the skills to design, implement, secure, and manage modern computer systems and networks that support organizational objectives. The program emphasizes hands-on, applied learning through lab-based coursework, real-world problem solving, and project-centered instruction. Students develop a comprehensive foundation across core areas of information technology, including programming, networking, Linux and systems administration, database design, cloud computing, security, systems analysis and design, and IT project management. Students also learn to communicate professionally, apply ethical decision-making, and collaborate effectively in teams. The program culminates in a capstone experience where students integrate technical and project management skills in a practical project.
